Canadian Badlands

The Canadian Badlands cover a broad area of southern and eastern Alberta, providing unique places to explore and scenic vistas to appreciate. Compressed sea deposits have been carved out by glaciation, resulting in a sculpted landscape that has been eroded into what is known as the Badlands. Rolling prairies are separated by coulees and deep river valleys, resulting in breathtaking scenery.
