Canadian Badlands

The Canadian Badlands cover a broad area of southern and eastern Alberta, providing unique places to explore and scenic vistas to appreciate. Compressed sea deposits have been carved out by glaciation, resulting in a sculpted landscape that has been eroded into what is known as the Badlands. Rolling prairies are separated by coulees and deep river valleys, resulting in breathtaking scenery.

The Village of Foremost is a Canadian Badlands community. For regional driving, local, activity and kids tours, visit The Canadian Badlands website.
