Foremost is part of the Prairie Rose School Division #8, headquartered in Dunmore, Alberta.

Prairie Rose Regional School Division

Ph: 1-800-468-7023
Dunmore, Alberta

Foremost School has an enrollment of over 200 students with two-thirds of the students being transported by bus from the surrounding County. Foremost School offers a complete program from elementary to high school. With 18 professional staff positions, the pupil-teacher ratio is very low and as a result, the school can offer a number of special programs such as:

  • Fine Arts
  • Computer program beginning in Grade 4
  • French program beginning in Grade 6
  • Work experience programs for high school students

In addition, there is a well-planned, intra-mural and extra-curricular sports program.

Early Childhood Services (Kindergarten)

The Foremost ECS program offers a well-rounded program and instruction by a qualified teacher, Susan Mehlen. The ECS room is located in the north wing of Foremost School.
