Foremost is served by the Foremost and Bow Island Detachments of the RCMP.

The Foremost Detachment office is located at 401-3rd Avenue West, with two Constables residing in the Village.

An all-weather airport is located two miles West of the Village, and North of Highway 61. It features a paved and lighted runway, restrooms, first aid, picnic tables and a telephone. Aviation fuel and oil are also available.
The Foremost Unmanned aircraft systems range is the first approved beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), Unmanned Air System (UAS) range in Canada and is one of two non-military BVLOS training and development centres for UAS in North America.

The Post Mistress is Marlene Kultgen (403) 867-3600 and the post office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. (Closed 12:00 - 12:30 pm for lunch)
Out-of-town mail arrives in Foremost at approximately 11:30 a.m. and outbound mail must be at the post office before 2:15 p.m.
The Fish and Wildlife Office in Foremost has PERMANENTLY CLOSED as of September 2018 (403) 867-3826.

Foremost hosts the Rodeo and Tuff Trucks Competition every year on the third weekend of June. This rodeo is a Chinook Rodeo Association sanctioned event.
